Candice, Thank you for Candice, Thank you for sharing your experience. It is very hurtful when people with whom we’ve had a close relationship decide to cut us out of their lives and use God as the heavy. I have had people quote Matthew 18:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 as to their reasons for cutting me out and/or just not coming over for dinner anymore. Not cool. But in the process, I’ve had to get really good at quickly forgiving so it doesn’t fester into bitterness. God is good like that!
Many blessings to you as you continue on your personal journey and as you help others with theirs in your practice. I look forward to continued interactions.
Keep on keeping on…

On another point, a lot of what you have to say reminds me a lot of how Andre Marin of The Marin Foundation (http://www.marinfoundation.org) and his Associate Director, Michael Kimpan (http://www.mjkimpan.com/), and Julie Rodgers (http://julierodgers.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/love-in-the-midst-of-disagreement/) discuss this need and ability to disagree yet stay in community.
Many blessings to you as you continue on your personal journey and as you help others with theirs in your practice. I look forward to continued interactions.
